Madera Canyon

Located a short drive south of Tucson, Madera Canyon is well known by birders from all over the US. Sitting in the scenic Santa Rita mountains Madera canyon has a nice picnic ground well up in the canyon with lots of wildlife. A small stream runs a good part of the year. The area also has a number of hiking trails.
